Las Cruces Insulation was founded in 2022 by a team that had spent years watching homeowners in southern New Mexico overpay for cooling costs they did not need to bear. Las Cruces gets over 300 sunny days a year, and the Chihuahuan Desert climate puts real pressure on every home in the area, from the older adobe houses near Old Mesilla to the newer stucco subdivisions on the east mesa. Most of those homes were built before modern insulation standards existed, and many had never been properly updated.
The business started small, focused on attic and spray foam work in Las Cruces proper. Over time, the service area expanded to include El Paso, Alamogordo, Deming, and more than a dozen other communities across the region, because the need was the same everywhere: homes losing the battle against desert heat, and homeowners who deserved a straight answer about why.
Today, Las Cruces Insulation is a locally owned insulation contractor serving 12 communities across southern New Mexico and west Texas. Every job starts with an honest assessment, and every estimate is written, itemized, and explained in plain terms. We work in the desert too, and we understand what it costs when a house is not properly sealed.
We measure what is in your attic or walls, tell you what we find, and recommend only what is actually needed. If your insulation is adequate, we will tell you that.
When you call or submit a request, you hear back within 1 business day. We give you a realistic installation window and show up when we say we will.
We know the housing stock in Las Cruces, the Chihuahuan Desert climate, and the utility programs available to local homeowners. That knowledge shapes every recommendation we make.
Before we leave, we walk you through the completed job, show you photos of covered areas, and explain what was done. You should never have to take our word for it.
Las Cruces Insulation holds a current New Mexico contractor license issued by the Construction Industries Division of the Regulation and Licensing Department. New Mexico requires licensed contractors for insulation work that affects the building envelope, and our license means you have legal recourse if anything is not done right, which matters if you ever sell your home or file an insurance claim.
We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage on every job. You should ask any contractor you hire to provide a certificate of insurance before work begins. We provide ours without hesitation.
